Who processes data for us

  • Hostinger: website hosting
  • Pipedrive: customer relationship management (enquiries and contacts)
  • beehiiv: newsletter sending
  • Microsoft 365: email

Ask Adam, the AI assistant on this site, sends what you write to the Ask Adam service run by Alex McDonnell on structuredcollaboration.com, which uses an AI model from Anthropic to prepare his answer. It asks you not to include names, does not keep what you write with anything that identifies you, and has its own privacy note. If you choose Talk to Adam, your browser’s own speech service (for example Google’s, in Chrome) turns your speech into text; we never receive the recording.

International transfers

Some of these providers process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where they do, transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or by Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

Enquiries and contact records are kept for up to 3 years after our last contact with you, unless you become a client. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, delete or move your data, object to its use, or withdraw consent, by writing to amcdonnell@expertivity.com. If you are in the EU, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie). If you are in the United States, you may have similar rights under your state’s privacy law, for example in Connecticut or Texas, and we will honour those requests in the same way.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decisions that affect you.

You do not have to give us any personal data. If you choose not to, we cannot reply to an enquiry or send you the newsletter, but you can still use the rest of the site, including Ask Adam.

Cookies

expertivity.com uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner. Videos are not loaded until you press play, and then come from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode. Ask Adam may remember on your device whether you asked him to read his answers aloud; nothing else is stored.
